So this is how they tell me it goes. I was born in Michigan, where my family and I lived until I was 11. We were in a town
that had a whopping 600 people in it. My friend had an old clapped out trail bike that occasionally I got to ride. From that
point on I needed one bad.

Once we moved to Glenwood Springs, Colorado my parents let me get a job (sweeping floors) so I could buy my first
bike. It took a while but I ended up buying a Ty250, thats a Yamaha trials bike, that didn't run.  I worked on it until I
realized that I didn't have wrenching skills. So it was sold and replaced with a It 175 enduro (she was a beauty). Anyway
to make a long story short, I rode junk for a long time and loved it. Luckily for me I got a job as an apprentice motorcycle
mechanic, so the junk kept runnin'. Stan, my new boss convinced me to go to a race with him. I was pumped (we're
talking '84 double-fist pump), the problem was that I wasn't fast. Like cold honey slow, it didn't bother me though, I loved
it.

It was '93 and I was mounted on an '86 Kx 125, tall and uncoordinated was a good way to describe me. A good friend,
Bob Mozingo, most people call him bouncin', told me to start racing the 250 class. The Kx 125 was out and in was an '88
Cr 250, from that point on I rode 250's. I turned pro in '96 and had my hands full trying to race at that level. I remember
crashing like 2-4 times per moto.

The year was '98, I just started riding for the Gary Semics Motocross School Team. Larry Morton ran the team, and
convinced me to move to Denver. It was great, I worked at Boulder Yamaha and rode Watkins thee days a week. The
team helped me a ton, by the next year I was winning championships. I was even able to ride 125's again. In 2000 I
landed a job training a kid named John Heap. I was suppose to be working for his dad, but most of the time we were out
at the track or in Florida rollin' the golf cart, sorry Mark.

Ever since I raced my first Outdoor National it was hook-line-sinker for me. I've raced 40 some Outdoor Nationals,
probably 12 or so AMA Supercrosses, three full seasons of 4-stroke Nationals, and more local races than I can
remember.

In 05' I started racing the WORCS series.  I was awarded  Pro Privateer of the Year  twice, once in 05' and in 07'. Had #8
twice as well.  In 08' I received a direct Kawasaki ride, unfortunately  I destroyed my wrist in a crash. Three surgeries
later I have less than half movement and still a lot of pain.  I'm still racing a lot, just not the 2 hour races.

In 08' I did my first Triathlon and I was hooked. I did 3 that year and plan on doing many more.
